Supplemental Results Dropped By Google
Supplemental Results was a topic back in July that had some SEO Agents thinking it was gone forever. Well, here we are at the very end of 2007 and you can still use it to check out how many pages are indexed. Check it out - all you have to do in order to see if your pages are being listed. Just type in the following and see what you come up with:
site:http://www.yourdomain.com
&
Syntax: www.domain.com/&
Notice that Syntax no longer works just as predicted by those SEO Agents back in July. If I remember right, they said Google was planning on only making it available in the webmasters area or something like that. Why would they do that? Think about this for a minute.
Why in the world would a company take away a program from those who develop websites when all that tool does is allow that webmaster the ability to create pages that benefit Google’s search results. Here’s what I think; they changed the name of the program because link makes more sense to the non-geek webmasters. That’s all there is to it.
What do you think?
